Iaitantonian Wilderness

The Iaitantonian Wilderness is a region between Fukushu Village and the Daimyo's Keep on the Isle of Iaitanto. The area is comprised of two forests, one dark and one light, as well as bare plains. In the northwest corner of the region, one may find a swamp full of poisonous gases, while north of the bare plains is the famous Canyon of the Winds.

In the Iaitantonian Wilderness, dominating the bulk of the island
of Iaitanto west of [Omelos](/Omelos), two vast forest and treeless plains are
found. Within the western light forest are roaming ninjas and a
passage to the poison-trap filled swamps. Also in the region is a
path to [Fukushu Village](/Fukushu_Village) and a farm house ravaged by the rebel ronin.
In the bare plains and eastern deep forests reside families of yaks,
wolves, and the Iaitantonian paladin Saikentoka. Further east,
samurai in the service of the Daimyo hunt ninja near the entrance to
the great keep. North of the plains is the Canyon of the Winds said
to have been created by Criscal's comb. In conclusion, Iaitanto's
Wilderness is relatively safe and trap-free.
