The Midgaard Catacombs

The Midgaard catacombs are situated under the small chapel in the southern
part of midgaard.  Because of the great evil contained within them, it
takes some forceful persuasion to convince the priest to give you the key
required for entrance.  The catacombs were originally designed to hold the
corpses of the Kings and Lords of Midgaard, and the tombs of several are
still recognizeable, though the desecration by graverobbers and evil beasts
have ruined what once must have been glorious burial chambers.  The Lower
Chambers and Tombs of the Undead may be reached via a staircase accessible
from the Shrine of Cristis.  The lower chambers contain great amounts of
gore and horror, and are a nice place to enjoy for those of a dark nature.
In the lower chambers, you will make the acquaintance of Snapper Joe, a
gruesome fiend who was called up from his service in hell in order to aid
the Undying One.  He controls the entrance to the lowest level of the
catacombs, where the vilest of creatures can be found, the night gaunts and
Mi-Gos.  On one side of the lowest level of the catacombs resides a mad
but benevolent couple: The etcher and his ghostly wife.  The etcher has
been working on a beautiful, yet disturbing hallway in the Catacombs for
20 years, and his work is certainly worth a look.  You may wish to avert
your gaze from his wife though, unless you have a strong stomach.  On the
other side of the Catacombs, you will find The Short Way to Hell (a lovely
place for a rest), and the lord of the catacombs.

(Aragorn)    :: Graveyard Dungeon
This is something about the graveyard dungeon south of Midgaard.
Ginger and I managed to get in there after help of some higher
being (thanks). (The first key: try the park cafe, the second key:
kill the priest)
The first annoying points are :
- There is no obvious description highlighting the altar in the chapel
as the entrance
- The priest is quiete tough but when you enter the dungeon there are
only very weak monsters that gave no xp and have no eq.
- There is a trap room which is not dangerous but you have to leave
it with a scroll of recall (well, as a warrior at least).
OK, so we decided to enter the dungeon a second time. Same as before,
boring monsters attacking you, no eq, no xp.
Then we found a guy called Jack or Joe I think. Con says 'Do you feel
lucky punk' for me and Ginger was in a higher level. I usually have
no problems killing guys with that rating (e.g. cityguards).
Boy, the guy really nearly got us. We left with below 30 hps (well
fleeing is the right word).
Why, consider still seems not to work. OK.
And concerning the dungeon: Until someone tells me there's anything
good in it I wont go in there again. Hours of running around and
no xp, no eq !!!
